Genomica

GENOMICA S.A.U is the leading Spanish Company in Molecular Diagnostics. Founded in 1990, it is located in the community of Madrid and is 100% owned by Zeltia.


The mission is to improve the present molecular diagnostics tests in the area of the life sciences through quality and automation.


The main objective is to become the Spanish market leader in genomics applications, and to extend the activities in the area of Molecular Diagnostics in Europe by means of the design, development and commercialization of new diagnostic applications with our innovating in vitro diagnosis platform, CLINICAL ARRAYS.


They have established a strategic alliance with the German company Clondiag, a

CLINICAL ARRAYS®- PneumoVir
leader in nanotechnology platforms. At the moment, they have successfully launched CLINICAL ARRAYS for the genotyping of papillomavirus and the detection of SNPs that predispose to bone metabolic alterations.


They also provide DNA analysis services for Legal and Forensic Medicine, and Technology Transfer services.


They are aiming to focus molecular differential diagnostics through the detection of SNPs on the determination of factors that predict response to therapies, which forms the basis of pharmacogenomics, thus opening a new era of diagnosis applications.
